Punter gets NFL Europe honor

Punter Tim Morgan was named NFL Europe Special Teams Player of the Week for games played the second week of the season (April 12-13). Morgan, who signed with the Packers this off-season as a free agent, has been allocated by the team to the Frankfurt Galaxy.<p>

Morgan punted seven times for an average of 42.1 yards in the Galaxy's 17-13 win over the host Scottish Claymores on Sunday. He had a long of 58 yards and also recovered an onside kick with just over a minute left in the game to help seal the victory.

Running back Autry Denson of the Detroit Lions and defensive end Josh McKibben of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the offensive and defensive players of the week.

Four of Green Bay's seven players, including quarterback Craig Nall, allocated to NFL Europe will play on Fox this Saturday when Scotland meets the Rhein Fire. Here is the NFL Europe schedule for April 19:
