Roster moves: Tackle claimed on waivers

The Packers claimed offensive tackle Reggie Coleman on waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday. Coleman played for the Washington Redskins and Bengals in his rookie season last year.<p>

Coleman (6-foot-5, 297 pounds) was selected in the sixth round by the Redskins in the 2002 NFL draft after starting for two seasons for the University of Tennessee. He was placed on waivers on Sept. 1 and signed to the Redskins' practice squad, then signed to Cincinnati's 53-man roster on Oct. 1. He did not play in any of the final 12 games for the Bengals.

Coleman started 10 games at left offensive tackle as a senior for the Vols, collecting 65 key blocks/knockdowns as a member of an offense that averaged 402.4 yards per game. A native of Jonesboro, Ark., he was rated the best offensive line prospect in Arkansas by SuperPrep following his senior season.
