Packers Workout: Keyunta Dawson

The Green Bay Packers brought in Keyunta Dawson, a fifth-year player who's made 20 career starts.

The Packers worked out Keyunta Dawson this week, according to Scout.com NFL insider Aaron Wilson.

Dawson, 26, was a seventh-round pick by Indianapolis in 2007 from Texas Tech. In four seasons as a defensive end for the Colts, he played in 58 of a possible 64 games with 20 starts. He tallied 113 tackles, with his only sack and forced fumble coming as a rookie. He signed with Detroit after the lockout and played in all four preseason games but was released among the Lions' final cuts.

At 6-foot-3 and 254 pounds, he'd be an outside linebacker if signed by the Packers.
