The Packers have displayed interest in bringing back Underwood this year, but that was deterred by his suspension.
Underwood dealt with a domestic violence accusation this year from his wife.
Underwood pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct.
Underwood was charged following a dispute with his wife after the Packers' Super Bowl ring ceremony on June 16. He paid a fine of $767.50. It is considered a non-criminal offense. Last summer, Underwood was tangled up in a case involving two prostitutes at a Wisconsin resort.
Underwood allegedly ripped a necklace off his wife, Brandie Underwood, outside the couple's home.
Underwood is a former Packers sixth-round draft pick from the University of Cincinnati.
He was an All-Big East Conference selection at Cincinnati after transferring from Ohio State, intercepting four passes as as senior. He was released by Green Bay on Sept. 3.
