Nall, Claymores finish on high note

Quarterback Craig Nall passed for two touchdowns and Scotland running back Ken Simonton (Buffalo) rushed for 151 yards, leading the Claymores to a 31-14 win over the Amsterdam Admirals on Sunday in Glasgow, Scotland. The Claymores finished the NFL Europe season with a 6-4 record, but were eliminated from the World Bowl by Berlin, which upset Frankfurt on Saturday.<p>

Frankfurt (6-4) will face the Rhein Fire (6-4) in World Bowl XI this Saturday at Hampden Park in Glasgow (12:00 p.m. ET, FOX).

Nall, allocated by Green Bay to Scotland this spring, completed 13 of 21 passes for 147 yards and threw for two touchdowns to pace the league's highest scoring offense past the Admirals (4-6). Scotland (6-4) accumulated 4,169 yards of offense over the 10 week season.

Nall led the league in passing with a 95.9 rating. He completed 151 of 258 attempts for 2,050 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Simonton led the league in scoring (10 touchdowns), rushing (871 yards) and total yards from scrimmage (1,253). He averaged a whopping 5.4 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns on the ground.
