Packers defensive back Jeremy Unertl and punter Tim Morgan each played roles in the Frankfurt Galaxy's World Bowl victory over the Rhein Fire on Saturday in Glasgow, Scotland.<p>
Unertl started at right cornerback and finished with six tackles in the Galaxy's 35-16 victory. The former Wisconsin-LaCrosse standout will be trying to make the Packers roster for the second straight season. He was released by Green Bay late in training camp last year, then re-signed with the team this off-season. Like last year, he likely will be used strictly at safety with the Packers and challenge Jacoby Shepherd
and Bobby Jackson
for a roster spot.
Morgan will be challenging Josh Bidwell for the Packers' punting job. Morgan had one kick for 38 yards in World Bowl XI.
Jonas Lewis ran for a World Bowl record 126 yards and added a touchdown as the Galaxy (7-4) won the championship for a record third time. Frankfurt took a 25-9 lead and never looked back. The Fire (6-5) lost in the title game for the second straight season.
