The team announced that Driver will be honored at the July 19 ceremony when former linebacker Mike "Mad Dog" Douglass and retired broadcaster Jim Irwin are inducted into the hall.

Driver was chosen as the honoree for the 33rd annual event after an impressive 2003 season. Suddenly finding himself called to be the leader of a young receivers corps for veteran QB Brett Favre, Driver answered big time. Driver's nine TD catches ranked second in the NFC, and he also led the team with 70 recepetions and 1,064 receiving yards. For his efforts, Driver was named the team's Most Valuable Player and was selected as a first alternate for the NFC Pro Bowl team.
