PACKER REPORT PREDICTION (10-1-1): Matt Ryan against Matt Flynn. Tony Gonzalez against Andrew Quarless. Those are huge mismatches the Packers are going to have to overcome if they are going to beat the Falcons today. Working in Green Bay's favor: a three-day mini-bye and the weather. It's supposed to be 13 degrees at kickoff, and the snow should start shortly thereafter. The Falcons' coldest game this season? Merely 62 degrees at Carolina. That has to be a factor. If the Packers can get the running game going early, will the Falcons have much interest in tackling Eddie Lacy as the game progresses? For more tangible factors, the Falcons rank 29th in turnovers, 32 in third-down offense and 29th in red-zone defense. The Packers should be able to take advantage, and when the Eagles beat the Lions, Green Bay shockingly will be one-half game out of first place in the NFC North.
