Oddsmakers Have Faith in Packers

The Packers have the fifth-best odds to win the championship, despite the state of the loaded NFC.

The Green Bay Packers, despite Seattle's dominance in Sunday's Super Bowl and San Francisco's dominance over the Packers, have the fifth-best odds to win Super Bowl XLIX, according to online bookmaker Bovada.

The Packers' odds are 16/1. Seattle, not surprisingly, is a solid favorite at 9/2, followed by San Francisco at 15/2, Denver at 8/1 and New England at 14/1.

Of the 11 teams with the best odds, eight reside in the NFC. That includes Chicago, which is 25/1. Detroit and Minnesota, which are breaking in new coaches, are 33/1 and 75/1, respectively.
