Injury Report: Matthews Says He’ll Play

Green Bay's injury report on Thursday was the same as it was on Wednesday, while the Bears are dealing with a number of issues.

The Green Bay Packers’ injury report was unchanged from Wednesday, with star outside linebacker Clay Matthews limited again with a groin injury on Thursday.

“Yeah, I’ll be out there,” Matthews said as he arrived at his locker at the bitter end of Thursday’s media session.

Chicago’s injury report didn’t change much, either. The Bears, however, are in far worse shape. Outside linebacker Shea McClellin (hand), center Roberto Garza (ankle) and guard Matt Slauson (ankle) are not expected to play. Defensive end Jared Allen (illness) and receiver Brandon Marshall (ankle) have not practiced this week.
