Bridgewater, who last week against Atlanta became only the second quarterback in the last decade to throw for 300-plus yards and no interceptions in his first career start, sprained his left ankle in the fourth quarter of that game. He didn’t practice on Monday and Tuesday and was listed as limited on Wednesday. He is questionable for Thursday night’s game.
The Vikings, however, will not have standout tight end Kyle Rudolph and outside linebacker Chad Greenway. Rudolph is sidelined with abdominal and groin strains, while Greenway is recovering from a broken hand and broken rib.
For the Packers, receiver Jarrett Boykin figures to miss a second consecutive game with a groin strain and Josh Boyd, a key backup defensive tackle, probably won’t play, either, with a knee injury sustained at Chicago. Both are listed as doubtful. Boykin might not be ready to face Miami next week, coach Mike McCarthy said.
Outside linebacker Mike Neal was added to the injury report with an injured hip. He didn’t practice on Wednesday and is probable with what McCarthy called “effects” from Sunday’s game.
