Coach Mike McCarthy said Adams was stepped on at Wednesday’s practice. McCarthy said he didn’t have “high concern” about Adams’ availability for Sunday’s game against New England.
Starting guards Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang were limited participation – Sitton said he only did some individual drills as he battles a toe injury -- while outside linebacker Nick Perry and cornerback Jarrett Bush did not participate.
Star linebacker Clay Matthews is not listed on the injury report after being limited a bit by a groin injury last week at Minnesota.
“We were being smart,” Matthews said on Thursday. “I felt good going into the game but, at the same time, we’re being cautious, especially feeling it out early in the game. That’s why you saw early in the game coming off a few times in certain situations and, by the end of the game, I don’t believe coming off the field, so obviously that was an indication of how I was feeling. You know how it is with those type of injuries. You’ve just got to be smart. Especially coming into this week, I feel great. I’ve had zero limitations, taken every rep in practice. I don’t see there being any rep limitations or anything that would require me not to do my job, whether it’s covering the tight end, a back out of the backfield or rushing the passer, so I feel good about that.”
