Cobb Playing It Day-By-Day

Said Cobb on Tuesday: "We don't know — we can't put a time estimate on when it's going to be. But we're not even 72 hours away from when I hurt it, so just taking it day-by-day right now."

Randall Cobb said he’s taking it “day-by-day” and hopes to be ready for the Sept. 13 season-opening game at Chicago.

Cobb, the Green Bay Packers’ Pro Bowl receiver, sustained a sprained shoulder during Saturday’s preseason game against Philadelphia.

“Of course,” Cobb said when asked about being ready for Week 1. “I don't plan on missing a game. I'm doing everything in my power to get back before then, but we still don't know severity. We've still got to get a lot of the swelling out. It definitely is a lot better then what we all thought it was in the beginning.”
