All Five Packers Offensive Linemen on Injury Report

A total of 16 players were listed on Tuesday's injury report, with center Corey Linsley among three who did not practice.

The Green Bay Packers have all five of their starting offensive linemen listed on the injury report.

The Packers added left tackle David Bakhtiari to the report on Tuesday, listing him as limited participation during their only true practice of the week. Bakhtiari missed the final 30 plays of the game against Detroit because of an injured knee but he started and played well at Minnesota on Sunday.

Left guard Josh Sitton (knee), right guard T.J. Lang (shoulder) and right tackle Bryan Bulaga (knee) were limited participation. Center Corey Linsley did not participate after getting knocked out of Sundays’ game by an ankle injury sustained on the opening series.

“I love those guys,” quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. “They’re the modern-day gladiators. They’re pushing through some tough bumps and bruises, and they’ve all been on the injury report I think at some point this season. It’s a tribute to the way they take care of themselves and mentally their capacity to push through the injuries is very admirable. And I think any young players looking at what toughness is all about and what being a professional is all about need to look no further than those guys over there on that side of the locker room.”

With Bakhtiari added, the Packers have 16 players on their injury report, matching their longest of the season. However, only Linsley and receivers Jared Abbrederis and Ty Montgomery did not participate on Tuesday.

Rodgers is not listed on the injury report after showing up with a sore throwing shoulder last week.

“Aaron’s good. He’s sore, just like everybody is,” coach Mike McCarthy said before Tuesday’s practice. “We had the STAA program (Soft Tissue Activation and Application) yesterday and those massages can be brutal. I’m sure they’re really sore from that, too. But that’s all part of the process of getting their bodies back.”

Of Chicago's starters, only receiver Eddie Royal and safety Antrell Rolle did not participate. Speaking on a conference call, Rolle said: "I don’t know. It’s a possibility. I’m working my way up to it right now and hopefully I can get out there and help the guys. That’s what I’m working toward right now."
