This will be the Packers’ fifth appearance in the Hall of Fame Game and the first since 2003. This marks Green Bay’s only national television appearance of the preseason.

— The Packers host Cleveland, the first preseason matchup between the clubs since 2009 through 2012. The Browns won the last three of those meetings.

— The Packers host Oakland for the second time in the past three preseasons. Green Bay won 31-21 in the 2014 preseason and 30-20 at Oakland in the 2015 regular season.

— Green Bay visits San Francisco, the first preseason game there since the Packers were crushed 34-6 in 2008. The Packers beat the 49ers in Week 4 of the 2015 regular season.

— The Packers conclude the preseason at Kansas City. The teams did not meet last preseason but did from 2010 through 2014. Those five matchups also were in the preseason finale, with Green Bay going 3-2.
