The Green Bay Packers will hold their 16th annual Family Night on Sunday, July 31.
Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a full practice, including 11-on-11 periods and live contact. The night will end with a jersey giveaway and fireworks.
Tickets, priced at $10, will go on sale on June 27. They will be available through Ticketmaster, over the phone or online, as well as the Packers ticket office. There will be a limit of 10 tickets per purchase during the first day of ticket sales. All individuals, regardless of age, will need a ticket to attend.
A group ticket program (minimum of 50 tickets) will be offered again. The application form is available online at http://pckrs.com/3sqx, in person at the Packers ticket office or can be requested to be faxed by calling 920-569-7501. Group ticket orders are restricted to approved groups and organizations, and are to be used for the sole purpose of accommodating a group or organizational outing. Resale is prohibited.
Parking will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Program.
Family Night will be televised by WLUK in Green Bay, WITI in Milwaukee, WMSN in Madison, WLAX in La Crosse and WEUX in Eau Claire.
If Family Night seems early this year, it is. The first practice of training camp last year was July 30. Why the difference? The Packers are playing in the Hall of Fame Game this year, so the entire training camp schedule has been accelerated by about a week to accommodate that Aug. 7 matchup. The full training camp schedule will be announced soon.
