Could Green Bay Packers receiver and special-teams ace Jeff Janis play against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a broken hand?
It's looking more possible. Janis would have been full participation had the Packers practiced on Thursday.
"Definitely," coach Mike McCarthy said when asked if Janis could contribute on special teams despite wearing a club-cast to protect a broken hand. "I think he proved that yesterday. That was really what yesterday’s practice was about for Jeff. Can he operate with a club? We’ll see how he feels today and, frankly, I think his work tomorrow will determine if he even has a chance or will be considered to be up (on the 46-man roster)."
The lone change was receiver Trevor Davis going from limited to did not participate.
