Slay Practices for Lions; Cobb Does Not for Packers

Here is the opening injury report as the Packers and Lions began their on-the-field prep for Sunday's showdown.

Green Bay Packers receiver Randall Cobb, who was held without a reception at Chicago two weeks ago and was inactive last week against Minnesota, did not practice on Wednesday.

Detroit’s premier cornerback, Darius Slay, was listed as limited participation as the Lions practiced in shorts and helmets. He was inactive against Dallas on Monday and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott took advantage by firing three touchdown passes vs. five incompletions.

“He’s a top corner,” Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. “He’s one of the top guys in the league and has been for the last couple years. If he’s not able to go, or not able to go full speed, it’s going to be a next-man-up mentality. That’s the way this league goes. Without him in the game, obviously you’re going to take some chances and some shots on anybody else in there.”

Green Bay’s top cornerback for most of the season, LaDarius Gunter, was full participation. He dropped out of the Minnesota game with an injured elbow. Fellow cornerback Damarious Randall was full participation, as well.
