Injury update

Wide receiver Robert Ferguson aggravated his right MCL sprain and guard Marco Rivera added a new injury to his list with a bruised eye, but both are expected to play Monday night when the Packers meet the Bears in Chicago.<p>

Both players underwent MRIs Monday, according to the team.

Rivera was inadvertently poked in the eye during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardianls and suffered severe bruising and double vision. Tests alleviated fears of a broken eye socket. Rivera is currently wearing a patch but said he will try to avoid donning a protective shield on his helmet.

Rivera, who has a streak of 70 consecutive games including playoffs, already is playing with a torn MCL.

Ferguson again aggravated his knee injury, but an MRI showed no further damage.
