Former Packers center Larry McCarren will present Packers President/CEO Bob Harlan for induction to the Packer Hall of Fame this year. Harlan, the sole inductee for the July 17 event, will become the 131st member of the Packers shrine.<p>
McCarren is sports director of Green Bay's WFRV-TV and analyst on the Packers Radio Network since 1995. He also is host of the "Larry McCarren Locker Room Show," and co-host of the "Mike Sherman
Show" during the Packers season, and a former columnist for Packer Report. He was inducted in 1992 along with quarterback Lynn Dickey and contributor Al Schneider.
McCarren started more games at center than any other player in Packers history and was named to three Pro Bowls during his 12-year career (1973-84).
Harlan, in his 15th year as the Packers' president, was unanimously elected to the Hall of Fame last fall in recognition of his major and multiple contributions to the Packers, including the $295 million renovation of Lambeau Field.
