Packer ticket prices staying put

Citing satisfactory finances, the Packers announced that ticket prices will not go up for the 2004 season.<P>

The team raised ticket prices $4 following the 2002 season. The 2003 rates of $50-$63 per ticket will remain in effect for 2004.

Team officials cite income generated by the renovation of Lambeau Field as a factor in meeting financial goals. The team's fiscal year ends March 31, so figures are not available until June.

Bookings for special events at Lambeau are just one factor in the Packers' rosy financial picture. Team officials said that the facility played host to 424 events since September and future bookings reach into 2008.

In related news, team officials said they hope to return the Family Night scrimmage to the training camp schedule. Prior to construction, the Packers played a scrimmage at Lambeau which was open to the general public for a small admission fee.
