A quartet of Packers made a big splash in NFL Europe's opening week. <p>
provided pyrotechnics for the Rhein Fire, contributing a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter of the season opener. The WR/KR's touchdown broke a 7-7 tie, and the Fire went on to beat the Cologne Centurions 26-25.
A couple of Packers on the losing end of that game turned in decent days. DE Eric Powell and CB Erwin Swiney each had fumble recoveries for the Centurions.
Cornerback Derek Combs scored the Amsterdam Admirals' only touchdown in a 34-11 opening day loss to defending champion Frankfurt Galaxy. Tony Donald finished the day with five catches for 65 yards. GB linebacker Steve Josue chipped in a sack as Amsterdam came up short.
Next week the Admirals host Berlin, Frankfurt travels to Colongne and the Rhein Fire welcomes Scotland. All games start at noon (Central) on Saturday.
