Drafting Defense with a capital D

The Packers stuck with their defensive draft game plan by using the 25th overall selection of Saturday's NFL Draft to select cornerback Ahmad Carroll out of Arkansas. They also seelcted Montana State cornerback Joey Thomas (70th overall) and DT Donnell Washington of Clemson (86th overall) after cutting some deals.<P>

The Packers went with a punter, B.J. Sander from Ohio State, with the 87th pick which they received from Miami.
