The Packers have signed a third player on the basis of tryouts at the recent minicamp.<p>
Undrafted free agent defensive end Jadae McGuire
signed on with Green Bay Wednesday, the team announced. McGuire attended the post-draft minicamp on a tryout basis. The 6-foot-6, 254-pound defensive lineman hails from Division-II West Virginia Tech where he played both football and basketball. Last seaon, McGuire recorded 84 tackles, nine sacks in 11 games, leading the W.V. Intercollegiate Athletic Confernce with 22 tackles for loss.
The two previous signees from the tryouts are linebacker Jermaine Taylor and cornerback Chris Day.
In another roster move, the Packers cut wide receiver Chris Shreve. Also an undrafted free agent, Shreve participated in the post-draft minicamp and signed with the team May 1.
