The team debuted the event in 1999, when 46,420 fans witnessed the scrimmage. The crowd reached more than 50,000 the following year and close to that in 2001. Family night had to go on hiatus in 2002-03 due to Lambeau Field construction.
With tickets at $8 and open to the public, Family Night gives non-season-ticket holders a chance to see the team in action on the storied field.
The slate includes warm-ups, 7-on-7 drills, the controlled scrimmage, interview session and fireworks. Twenty scrimmage-worn jerseys will then be given to attending fans through a random drawing.
Tickets go on sale June 5. Sale times and outlets will be announced at a later date, the team announced .The event will be televised on the Packers' preseason television network throughout the state of Wisconsin.
