Family Night tickets going fast

Ticket sales for "Packers Family Night, presented by Fox 11," to be held Saturday night, Aug. 7, in Lambeau Field, have surpassed the 44,000 mark.<p>

The event, returning for the first time since 2001, features the Packers' intra-squad scrimmage, beginning at 7 p.m., followed by an on-field question and answer session with GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman and several players.

Also included in the evening's activities is the popular "Shirt Off Our Back," with approximately 20 jerseys - all of which will have been worn by the players in the just-completed scrimmage - to be given away in a random drawing.

A fireworks show returns to conclude the night.

Tickets, priced at $8, may be purchased either in person or over the phone.

In-person sales are being conducted at a number of locations, including the Packers ticket office at Lambeau Field, the Resch Center box office and all TicketStar outlets. Area TicketStar outlets include Cub Foods in Appleton, Curry's Foods in Marinette and Dr. Freud's in Manitowoc.

Over the telephone, tickets can be purchased by calling 920-494-3401 in Green Bay, or toll free, 800-895-0071 from any other location.

Fans can purchase tickets on the internet as well by logging on to www.packers.com.
