Training Camp this week: Aug. 16-22

This week packs a lot onto the preseason plate for Packer fans, but habitual railbirds may feel left out as two-a-days are over and the team shifts its focus from Clark Hinkle Field to Lambeau.<P>

The exhibition slate kicks off tonight as the Packers take on the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football at 7 p.m. at Lambeau Field. Please note the one-hour earlier start time for ABC prime time games in preseason. The week wraps with another home preseason game vs. the New Orleans Saints at 7 p.m. Saturday, followed by an off-day Sunday. Here's the schedule for the Packers practices in between their first two preseason contests:

Tues, Aug. 17 players off - no practice

Wed, Aug. 18 no morning practice; 1:45-3:45 p.m. (pads)

Thurs, Aug. 19 11 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (pads); no afternoon practice

Fri, Aug. 20 practice held inside Lambeau Field - closed to the public

Due to the start of the preseason, the scheduled entertainment on the main stage in the Lambeau Field Atrium has concluded. While the free-to-the-public Packers Experience is still going strong, the event is on hiatus Monday and Tuesday to accommodate the game. Packers Experience returns Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. and continues through Aug. 31 except for Saturday and Sunday, again due to the game schedule.

The Packer Hall of Fame and Pro Shop will be open for regular business hours during the week with expanded hours for the Monday and Saturday night games. Stadium tours are not conducted on game days.
