While Antonio Chatman has emerged from the field in the race at returnman for Green Bay, a host of Packers are hanging on to roster hopes through their stand-out special teams play. The list includes cornerback Jason Horton, who made a splash in the preseason opener, linebackers Steve Josue, Jermaine Taylor, Maurice Jones and Tyreo Harrison and receiver Scottie Vines.
Despite Lewis' continuing recovery from a torn ACL suffered in Week 2 last year, he's dangerous and the Packers will get a good look their coverage ability vs. the two-time Pro Bowler. Lewis led the NFL in punt returns with an average of 16.1, the highest mark ever for a player with at least 30 returns. Lewis is one of three players to return two puntsfor touchdowns in the same game twice in his career. He also has a Super Bowl runback to his credit - an 84-year kickoff return for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXXV vs. the New York Giants.
