Merry Christmas from!

Dear Santa,
Thanks for the early Christmas gift of a Packer playoff berth. It's just what we wanted. As you know, the Packers have been very good this year, so we have a few more requests that we hope our favorite players find under their trees on this Christmas Day:

For Brett Favre: A consistent offensive line, a continued cold-weather streak, and confidence that his receivers will hang on to the passes he launches their way. The rest of the list are things Favre has had before, so we know he'll like them: playing in the Superdome at the end of the season, a well-deserved Pro Bowl appearance and, if you're not too busy, how about another MVP honor to add to his collection. We're grateful for the gift Favre has given fans – the "comfort and joy" of knowing that the best QB in the league wears Green and Gold.

For LeRoy Butler: At least one more year. When he leaves the field for good, he deserves better than to hobble off with an injury – if anyone deserves a farewell tour, it's Butler. P.S. Santa, can you throw in at least one more Lambeau Leap? For Ahman Green: Lots of blank pages so he can re-write the Packer recordbooks.

For Ryan Longwell: A perfect run though the post-season, and a kickoff that sails into the end zone.

For Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila: A sack of Kurt Warner in the NFC Championship game, or two or three …. Please!

For Mike McKenzie: Another great game vs. Randy Moss on Dec. 30 at Lambeau Field.

For Santana Dotson: A long run of good health after struggling with injury the past two seasons.

For Bhawoh Jue: Another interception and the recognition he deserves for stepping up in dire defensive straits.

For Mike Sherman: Coach of the Year consideration and his first playoff win.

For the entire team: A home playoff game, an unbroken home playoff winning streak and, last but not least, another ring and Lombardi Trophy to go with that swell set they got back in '96.

Thanks, Santa. Instead of leaving you the traditional cookies and cocoa, you'll find Kroll's cheeseburgers for you and the reindeer just across from Lambeau Field.
