Favre among Player of the Week nominees

Brett Favre was in familiar company as he joined QBs Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb as finalists for the NFL Player of the Week honors for Week 10 games.<p>

Favre was 20-of-29 for 236 yards and four touchdowns, recording a passer rating of 133.0 in the Packers' 34-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field Sunday. Favre threw touchdown passes of two, six, 17 and 50 yards in the Packers' victory, the second time this season he has thrown four touchdowns in a game. This time he went to receivers Javon Walker, Tony Fisher, Bubba Franks and William Henderson for the scores.

The 4 TD game was the 18th such performance of his career, which ranks second on the league's all-time list behind Dan Marino who had 21 career 4 TD games. Favre broke his previous second-place tie with Johnny Unitas.

Fan voting determines the winneres of the FedEx Air and Ground NFL Players of the Week. Voting runs through noon Tuesday at NFL.com. FedEx donates $5,000 to a children's hospital in each winning market.
