Team's Super Bowl Ticket Plans

Packers season ticketholders will be eligible to purchase tickets to Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans on Feb. 3 if the Packers make it to the Big Dance.<p>

"Because our season ticketholders repeatedly have demonstrated their loyalty with annual season-ticket sellouts in Lambeau Field since 1960, we want to make sure Super Bowl tickets are available to as many of them as possible," said Packers president Bob Harlan.

"We have developed an allocation plan which we believe is fair to all of our season ticketholders. Every account - whether it be green package, gold package, club seat or private boxholder - has an equal chance in a lottery for two Super Bowl tickets, regardless of the number of tickets in the account," Harlan said

Harlan also said that the Packers will not be offering tour packages to the season ticketholders.

Under the allocation plan, tickets are being distributed as follows: Each season ticket account selected in the lottery is eligible for two tickets, at $400 per ticket.

The lottery process was conducted Friday, January 4, and monitored by the Green Bay accounting firm of Wipfli, Ullrich and Bertelson. Notification has been sent to the winners.

Under guidelines implemented by the National Football League, the number of available tickets and the names of the recipients selected through the lottery system are confidential.
