And the contest winner is ...

Corey Jenness of Kingsford, Mich., won packerreport.com's first annual "Guess the Packers Schedule" contest.<p>

Jenness was correct on five of the 17 weeks in the Green Bay Packers 2005 schedule.

Jenness correctly predicted that the Packers will begin their 2005 season at Detroit against the Lions. He also correctly predicted the Packers' bye in Week 6, Green Bay's game at Minnesota in Week 7, the home game against Detroit in Week 14, and road game at Baltimore in Week 15.

For coming the closest to the actual schedule out of 102 entries, Jenness will receive two tickets to a Green Bay Packers home preseason game of his choice this year and two Packer Report pre-game tailgate passes.

Kelly Jenness of Kingsford, Mich., (same address as Corey but different e-mail address) also was correct on five weeks of the Packers' 2005 schedule. Since Corey's prediction arrived ahead of Kelly's, Corey won the tie-breaker.

Contestants who correctly predicted four weeks of the Packers schedule include Nikki Huber of Racine, Wis.; Ken Rommel of Milwaukie, Ore.; and John Steuck of Green Bay, Wis. Ten other contestants were right on three of the weeks and the rest were correct on two or fewer of the 17-week schedule.

Thanks to all who participated.
