Packers injury update

Flanagan will not play against Vikings; Green will

Unless he suffers a major setback, running back Ahman Green will play against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in the Metrodome. Meanwhile, center Mike Flanagan, safety Earl Little and linebacker Na'il Diggs will not suit up.

Green is listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Coach Mike Sherman said he will further evaluate Green today before he makes his decision on Green, who practiced a little more Friday than he did on Thursday.

"Hopefully, he'll be able to play on Sunday and give us what we need," Sherman said.

"I certainly want to get as much out of him as we possibly can. He's an integral part of our offense."

Flanagan is recovering from hernia surgery earlier this month. He may be ready to play next week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Little injured his hamstring on Oct. 3 against Carolina. Diggs tore the MCL in his right knee in the same game and will be out at least until mid-November.

The Packers added linebacker Roy Manning (ankle) to their injury report and listed him as questionable. Manning sprained his ankle in practice on Thursday.
