NFL Europe Week 2 update

Here is an update of how Green Bay Packers allocated to play in NFL Europe did during games played on April 20:<p>

Running back Herbert "Whisper" Goodman again started for Scottish Claymores and rushed for 96 yards on 16 carries in a 13-10 loss to the Rhein Fire. One of the league's top rushers, Goodman has posted 193 yards in two weeks.

Cornerback Hurley Tarver also started for the Claymores and finished with 4 tackles and a fumble recovery while posting one tackle and a forced fumble on special teams. Linebacker Paris Lenon started for the Amsterdam Admirals and finished with 9 tackles and forced a fumble in the 24-19 win over the Berlin Thunder.

Defensive end John Gilmore (Amsterdam) and offensive lineman Tim Stuber (F.C. Barcelona) started for their respective teams.

The Frankfurt Galaxy, behind an NFLEL single-game record 331 rushing yards, powered past the F.C. Barcelona Dragons, 54-14, to push their record to 2-0. Packers allocated running back Joey Dozier contributed by catching 2 passes for 12 yards in the win.
