Miller, only a rookie, is vying for a franchise record with a fifth straight game with a touchdown reception, and there's a good possibility of that happening Sunday. One of the few downfalls of the Packers' defense this season has been a maddening inability to keep an opposing tight end from having a stellar game - see Detroit's Marcus Pollard in Week 1, Cleveland's Steve Heiden in Week 2, Minnesota's Jermaine Wiggins in Week 7.
The Green Bay linebackers, whether a cause of being caught out of position or slow to react, have been susceptible to giving up short passes over the middle or in the flat that result in big gains. Even Cincinnati fullback Jeremi Johnson got away for a 27-yard touchdown catch that proved to be the difference Sunday.
Packers special teams vs. Steelers special teams
With it being November on the calendar, it's come to that point in the season when Mother Nature invariably begins to wreak havoc with the action on the field at Lambeau Field. The tricky winds pick up steam inside the stadium bowl, and there's always the threat of snow.
Favorable field position could be had for the Packers since Chris Gardocki, a one-time annual visitor to Green Bay when he played with Chicago, statistically ranks among the worst punters in the league this season. Meanwhile, it will be incumbent upon counterpart B.J. Sander to work some directional magic and keep the football out of the hands of Steelers return ace Antwaan Randle El. Of course, Sander will have the added pressure of getting the hold right on any field-goal tries by Ryan Longwell that won't be a gimme if the weather becomes a factor.
