Not again! Another RB goes down

Williams injures hamstring in practice

Walter Williams left practice Thursday with an injured hamstring, the Packers announced through their injury report. His availability for Sunday's game is not immediately known.

Williams was signed to the team's 53-man roster in late October after Ahman Green was lost with a season-ending quadriceps injury. Playing behind Samkon Gado and ReShard Lee, Williams did not get any carries last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers but caught his first NFL pass for 19 yards.

The Packers, who have lost Najeh Davenport to a season-ending ankle injury and Tony Fisher indefinitely with a rib injury, plan to add Williams to their injury report on Friday.

If Williams is unable to play Sunday, Gado and Lee enter the game as the team's only healthy running backs. Fisher has not practiced this week and is not expected to play as his fractured rib heals.

William Henderson and Vonta Leach are the team's two fullbacks.
