NFL Europe Week 5 update

Green Bay Packers running back Herbert ìWhisperî Goodman had his first 100-yard game of the season Sunday in NFL Europe Week 5 action.<p>

Goodman, a third-year pro playing his first season in NFL-E, rushed for a season-high 105 yards as the Claymores edged the Amsterdam Admirals 16-13 at the Amsterdam Arena on Sunday. The win improved Scotland to 2-3 and snapped a three-game losing streak while Amsterdam lost its third straight at home and fell to 2-3.

The Claymores scored their first touchdown since the second week of the season. The low-scoring battle was decided with 5:11 to play in the fourth quarter when Claymores quarterback Scott Dreisbach threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Dondre Gilliam.

Amsterdam drove back into field goal range late in the game but Joe O'Donnell's 54-yard field goal attempt - worth a game-winning four points under NFL Europe rules - fell short as time expired.

Through five weeks, Goodman has 380 total yards from scrimmage, 360 rushing and 20 receiving.

Packers linebacker Paris Lenon, allocated to Amsterdam by Green Bay, has two interceptions for 10 yards.
