Gbaja-Biamila has only five sacks this season, and his urgency to close the season with a flourish to extend his team-record streak to five years with double-digit sacks will face an imposing roadblock in Ogden. The speedy Gbaja-Biamila didn't get past the powerful Ogden for a sack in their only previous encounter in 2001, but Ogden committed a holding penalty that played a part in the Packers' 31-23 victory. Rookie Mike Montgomery has gotten more playing time on early downs the last couple games, which is keeping Gbaja-Biamila fresh for passing situations and could be the late-season boost he needs to get five more sacks.
Packers special teams coverage units vs. Ravens return specialist B.J. Sams
The 87-yard kickoff return by Sams to open Baltimore's loss at Denver on Sunday may have just been a warm-up for the damage he could inflict against the Packers' suspect cover men. They allowed R.W. McQuarters to get loose for a 73-yard runback on a kickoff in the last game. Green Bay ranks 25th in the league defending kickoff returns, yielding an average of 23 yards. The Packers' punt-return coverage has been considerably better throughout the season, giving up but 5.7 yards on average. Sams will put that to the test with his gaudy clip of 11.2 yards per return. Green Bay will be without its special teams ace, rookie Brady Poppinga, who sustained a torn ACL on Sunday.
Ravens CB Chris McAlister vs. Packers WR Donald Driver
McAlister is coming off his best game and leads the Ravens with 17 passes broken up. Driver leads the Packers with 71 catches and five touchdowns.
Ravens K Matt Stover vs. Packers K Ryan Longwell
Stover has converted 22 of his past 23 field goals, hitting the game-winners in the Ravens' past two wins. Longwell has connected on eight of his past nine field goals, including four beyond 40 yards.
Ravens secondary vs. Packers QB Brett Favre
The Ravens have struggled to force turnovers and have made just seven interceptions this season. Favre has thrown 22 interceptions, his most since 1999.
