NFL Europe Week 8 update

Fans across the nation had the chance to see two Packers prospects in NFL Europe Week 8. Scottish Claymores running back Herbert "Whisper" Goodman rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Claymores' 31-23 loss to the Berlin Thunder on Sunday.<p>

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, Goodman has totaled 631 yards on 156 carries (4.0 yards per carry).

Also in the Claymores' loss, cornerback Hurley Tarver started for Scotland (4-4) and had two tackles against Berlin (4-4).

Here's how other Packers allocated to NFL Europe performed in Week 8:

Linebacker Paris Lenon started for the Amsterdam Admirals, finishing with four tackles and one pass defensed in the 20-13 loss to Frankfurt.

Defensive tackle John Gilmore saw action with the Admirals after missing two games due to a hand injury. With their sixth straight loss, Amsterdam (2-6) is eliminated from World Bowl contention.

Fullback Joey Dozier once again started for the Galaxy, who improved to 6-2 and are tied with Rhein for first place in the league. Dozier did not have any carries.

Offensive lineman Tim Stuber started for F.C. Barcelona (2-6) in their 24-21 loss to Rhein. Guard Ed Kehl (Rhein) remains on injured reserve after suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee during Week 7 action.
