Fan Fest ticket winners notified

Starr, Brockington, Dotson to sign autographs at three-day event

Tickets were mailed this week for next month's Packers Fan Fest in the Lambeau Field atrium. Nearly 800 individuals, representing 3,000 tickets, priced at $75 each, are to receive mailings, according to the Green Bay Packers.

During the two-week sign-up process (Jan. 16-31), more than 2,000 individuals submitted applications, representing more than 8,000 requested tickets. Applicants not selected were notified this week as well.

Last year, the event sold out in less than three hours. A line of fans began forming near the Lambeau Field ticket office at about 1 a.m., and phones were so busy the Packers' toll-free number shut down, blocking callers from getting through. Tickets last year were $55 apiece.

Among the Packers greats lined up for this year's autograph sessions are Bart Starr, John Brockington and Santana Dotson. Other highlights include a Friday night Fan Fest kickoff event and a tour through the team's spectacular locker room.

All Fan Fest attendees also will enjoy admission to the Packers Hall of Fame and automatic entry into a drawing for Fan Fest door prizes. Children 3-and-under enter free and do not require a ticket. Parking for the event is free.

A portion of Fan Fest proceeds will go to charity through the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

Fan Fest details are available online at www.packers.com. Further details, including additional player appearances, will be announced in the coming weeks.
