Lucas catches two touchdown passes for Amsterdam

Packers center Pete Traynor and cornerback Therrian Fontenot helped the Rhein Fire top the Cologne Centurions 20-10 Sunday in NFL Europe Week 3 action.

Quarterback Drew Henson threw for 165 yards and a touchdown to lead for the Rhein Fire (3-0).

Traynor aided the Rhein Fire's ground attack that churned out 149 yards. Fontenot — a week after intercepting two passes — broke up one pass and made three tackles.

Rhein forced four turnovers — three fumble recoveries and an interception in the victory.

On Saturday, Packers wide receiver Chad Lucas caught two touchdown passes for the Amsterdam Admirals in a 38-20 victory over the Frankfurt Galaxy in Amsterdam. The Admirals improved to 2-1.

Lucas caught a 4-yard scoring pass in the first quarter and a 22-yarder in the fourth, his only catches in the game.

Packers tight end Tory Humphrey, who also plays for the Admirals, caught one pass for 9 yards.

Packers quarterback Brian Wrobel, allocated to Berlin, did not play in the Thunder's 17-17 tie with Hamburg.
