Roster moves

As many of the Green Bay Packers returned to Green Bay today to prepare for full-squad practices, the Packers released two players and signed two.<p>

Aside from signing fullback Najeh Davenport, the Packers also signed free agent wide receiver Javon Green. The Packers released guard Ed Kehl and return specialist Richard Lewis.

Kehl played in NFL Europe this spring. Lewis failed his physical and was released by the Packers.

Green played collegiately at the University of Colorado. He was signed as a free agent in April of 2001, released in July and re-signed last January. He was released again by the Raiders in April. In 2000, Green led the Buffaloes with 48 catches, 699 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
