Glenn gives Packers a scare

Receiver Terry Glenn is expected back at practice today after sitting out Tuesday with a hyperextended knee, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman said.<P>

The injury occurred during Monday's practice. An MRI showed no further damage.

"He actually wanted to go (Tuesday morning) but I held him out," Sherman said. "I just wanted to be cautious with that. We'll see how it looks.

Instead,Glenn did conditioning work inside the Don Hutson center during practice sessions Tuesday.

Glenn's health is a concern of the Packers, who are counting on consistency from the big free agent catch. The receiver's career has been dotted with several minor injuries since he burst onto the scene with an NFL-record 90 catches in his '96 rookie year. Glenn has been able to play a complete season only once, in 2000.
