Lombardi Legends release video

Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers won 5 NFL Championships and Super Bowls I and II. For some teams this would be enough, but not Lombardi's Packers.

Proving they are champions both on and off the field, the Lombardi Era Green Bay Packers have joined forces to continue the dedication to the community preached by Coach Lombardi. The result of this "teamwork" is the "Vince Lombardi Titletown Legends," a non-profit foundation established to assist various charities throughout Wisconsin.

The Legends inaugural fundraising event was held in Green Bay Sept. 7-9, 2001. The outcome of the reunion was the creation of a special edition video entitled "With Love and Respect: A Reunion of the Lombardi Green Bay Packers." The video features Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Willie Davis, Jim Taylor, Jerry Kramer, Max McGee, Fuzzy Thurston and over 70 of Vince Lombardi's Packers players and coaches reunited in the city they turned into "Titletown USA." The video includes 90 minutes of reminiscing, stories, hilarious moments and rare footage of the Lombardi era. Teammates for life, these champions rediscover the never-ending bond they share -- pride, love and Lombardi.

The video was hosted and co-produced by Jerry Kramer in collaboration with Dick Schaap. Dick and Jerry worked together to publish the best selling books of "Instant Replay" and "Distant Replay." The video was one of the last projects Dick Schaap worked on, as he passed away during the production of the project. Dick was an adopted Green Bay Packer and the video is dedicated to his lasting memory.

The cost of the video is $14.95, plus $5 shipping and handling. Proceeds from the sale of the video will go to the Vince Lombardi Titletown Legends non-profit organization. To purchase a video, call 800-728-6501.
