Injury update

Many Packers return to practice, but some are still ailing

QB Brett Favre returned to practice Thursday after being held out of most of Wednesday's workout. Favre has been plagued by sore ankles but is probable to play Sunday against New England.

-- RB Ahman Green practiced Thursday after having his weekly day of rest Wednesday for his sore knees. Green is probable for the game.

-- CB Charles Woodson should be ready for Sunday after returning to practice. Woodson has been nursing a bruised left knee but is probable.

-- WR Greg Jennings was back out on the field Thursday following a day of rehab for his lingering sprained right ankle. He is probable for the New England game.

-- FB William Henderson practiced Thursday after being out a day because of a knee injury. He is probable for Sunday. Henderson likely will make his third consecutive start because Brandon Miree is questionable with a hyperextended left elbow, though Miree has practiced the past two days.

-- CB Al Harris was sidelined Thursday for the second consecutive day because of illness but should practice Friday and remains probable for Sunday.

-- TE David Martin is questionable for the game because of shoulder and thigh injuries that have kept him out of the past two days of practice.

-- RB Vernand Morency practiced Thursday for the second consecutive day, and offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski said it was looking good that Morency would be available Sunday. Morency has missed the past two games because of a lower back injury. He remains listed as questionable on the injury report. If he's cleared to play, Morency likely will be used at both running back and on kickoff returns.

-- CB Will Blackmon is iffy to play Sunday because of a rib injury that has kept him out of practice so far this week. The rookie is questionable for the game.
