Glenn returns to practice

Terry Glenn finally saw the bright lights of Lambeau Field, if only in a workout. The receiver returned to practice Monday, testing his sprained knee in a special practice session held inside the stadium.<p>

Glenn participated in individual drills and then was excused from the night practice. He'll be evaluated today to see how his knee responds to the workout.

"He did a couple nice things," coach Mike Sherman said. "He might be further ahead than we anticipated.>p> "He's been running every day, working out," Sherman said. "We thought this would be a good opportunity to get the pads on and do some cutting. I thought he did a pretty good job."

Glenn performed well, but walked off the field with a noticeable limp afterwards. Receivers coach Ray Sherman said that wasn't a concern.

"Afer he got through working out out, he said he felt fine."

Receiver Robert Ferguson also returned to for a brief workout Monday. Except for providing an opportunity for both injured receivers to test their knees, starters were not included in the special practice session. Selected veterans were also excused.
