Rough day for receivers

Packer receivers were "off their game" Tuesday as the afternoon practice saw a slew of butterfingers and botched routes.<P>

During the scrimmage portion of the afternoon session, Donald Driver dropped a pass that was subsequently tipped and intercepted. Wide receiver Robert Ferguson and tight end Bubba Franks also dropped passes.

Rookie Javon Walker fared better, which is good news on the heels of his miscue in Saturday's preseason contest at Arizona, receivers coach Ray Sherman said.

Walker ran a wrong route in the game, apparently failing to clearly hear the call in the huddle. It likely cost him a touchdown, but it was his only miscue of the game, Ray Sherman said.

"When we talked on the bench, he was fine," Sherman said. "He responded well and had some catches."

Receiver Terry Glenn did not practice Tuesday, as he continues to rest his sprained knee.
