The troops reported to the Don Hutson Center for the session, and showed a remarkable turnaround for the morning session.
"Most of the guys were expecting to have off this afternoon and to have to practice again in pads, you know, you would expect morale to be down," quarterback Brett Favre said. "But I thought it was one of our better practices of the year.
"That was not because we felt the heat from anyone," Favre said. "We just made a decision we were going to come out there and get after each other. And that was impressive."
Besides the impromptu practice for players, Sherman also let the media know he was an unhappy camper. Following the Wednesday morning session, the usually affable Sherman answered questions for only 1 minute, 17 seconds before cutting it short.
