Locks: Brett Favre, Doug Pederson, Craig Nall
No chance: Marcus Brady
Comment: Brady has only gotten a few snaps here and there in training camp. He may be a practice squad candidate.
Locks: Ahman Green, William Henderson, Rondell Mealey
On the fence: Tony Fisher, Jason Brookins, Najeh Davenport, Ki-Jana Carter
No chance: Herbert Goodman
Comment: Carter probably will not make the roster. Goodman hasn't gotten much of a chance in training camp, then injured his knee. He's probably on the way out as well. Davenport has to show that he belongs on the roster in the final two exhibition games, or he could wind up on injured reserve.
Locks: Chad Clifton, Mike Wahle, Mike Flanagan, Marco Rivera, Mark Tauscher, Frank Winters
On the fence: Jeff Blackshear, Kevin Barry, Tim Stuber, Earl Dotson, Bill Ferrario, Chris Watton
No chance: Mike Houghton, Andy Eby, Reggie Nelson
Comment: The Packers will probably keep 10 offensive linemen, but the remaining four spots are very unsettled. In fact, there's a strong possibility that the Packers will have to go on the free agent market or make a trade for a suitable backup, especially at tackle. If Earl Dotson does not rebound quickly from his recent knee surgery, he may remain on the physically unable to perform list and miss the first six weeks of the season.
Locks: Bubba Franks, David Martin
On the fence: Tyrone Davis, Bill Seymour
Comment: Look for the Packers to keep Seymour, a rookie out of the University of Michigan. He has showed versatility by playing fullback in training camp. Davis has not made many big plays this preseason, but that could change if he comes through in the final two exhibition games.
Locks: Terry Glenn, Robert Ferguson, Donald Driver, Javon Walker
On the fence: Charles Lee, Karsten Bailey
No chance: Chris Jackson, Kerry Hood, Brian Haugabrook, Andy McCullough Comment: If Bailey has a strong finish in exhibition games this week, it is possible that he could unseat Lee for the fifth and final roster spot at wide receiver. Otherwise, Lee has the inside track on that spot. Hood is a solid candidate for the practice squad.
Locks: Joe Johnson, Vonnie Holliday, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Cletidus Hunt, Gilbert Brown, Aaron Kampman, Billy Lyon
On the fence: Steve Warren, Rod Walker, Jamal Reynolds, Jared Tomich
No chance: John Gilmore, Aaron Fields, Ken Kocher
Comment: Interesting battle for the backup nose tackle spot going on here. Do the Packers keep Warren or Walker? It is hard to believe that they will retain three nose tackles. Reynolds probably will make the team but nothing is guaranteed at this point. If not, Tomich is a solid player.
Locks: Na'il Diggs, Nate Wayne, Hardy Nickerson, Torrance Marshall
On the fence: Paris Lenon, Rob Holmberg, Algie Atkinson, Marcus Wilkins, Anthony Sessions Comment: There's a fierce battle going on at this position for the sixth and final roster spot. It is possible that Wilkins will be placed on the practice squad because he has been playing a little at defensive end in recent weeks. Holmberg and Lenon have practiced with the first-team defense, which give them the inside track on the final roster spots.
Locks: Tyrone Williams, Mike McKenzie, Bhawoh Jue, Tod McBride
On the fence: Keith Thibodeaux, Erwin Swiney, Hurley Tarver
No chance: Seneca McMillan, Jason Suttle
Comment: Swiney has made some big plays in training camp but also some big mistakes. Thibodeaux has missed the last week of practices with a finger injury. It will be a close call between Swiney and Thibodeaux.
Locks: Antuan Edwards, Darren Sharper, Matt Bowen, Marcus Anderson
No chance: Todd Franz, Gana Joseph
Comment: With Scott Frost on injured reserve, this position is set.
Locks: Ryan Longwell, Josh Bidwell, Rob Davis
No chance: Louie Aguiar
Comment: The Packers brought in Aguiar to provide relief to Longwell and Bidwell. There was some talk that Aguiar might be used for kickoffs, but Longwell has displayed good hang time and distance since the team's second exhibition game at Arizona.
