Packers agree to terms with seven undrafted players; others will try out

The Green Bay Packers were expected to pursue about a dozen undrafted free agents immediately after the NFL draft on Sunday evening. The Packers have yet to announce any signings, but various reports have indicated that the team has agreed to terms with the following players:

Quarterback Jerry Babb, Louisiana-Lafayette

Offensive lineman Pat Murray, Truman State

Linebacker Rory Johnson, Mississippi

Linebacker Juwan Simpson, Alabama

Defensive end Larry Birdine, Oklahoma

Defensive end/tackle Danieu Muir, Kent State

Fullback Ryan Powdrell, Southern California

Trying out for the team
At least three players, and possibly more, will receive tryouts during the team's rookie orientation camp this weekend. If they do well enough in front of Packers coaches, scouts and other personnel over 72 hours, they will be signed to free agent contracts. Those players include:

Quarterback John Stocco, Wisconsin

Cornerback Chris Anzano, Pace University

Safety Tristan Burge, Eastern Illinois

Tight end Joe Werner, Wisconsin - La Crosse
